Women’s Footprints in History

The website I chose was “Women’s Footprints in History” because, after viewing it, I learned about many women whose names I previously didn’t even know. I enjoy many things about this website. For one, the interface is smooth and easy to navigate, making it accessible to a broader range of people, than had it been less user-friendly. For another, they don’t just talk about white women, or women from America- they raise awareness of women of color and women from other countries around the world as well. Each fact tells about a woman’s achievements, and then, with the next scroll, tells about how it relates to the world today. And they aren’t exploitative, but rather, informative, in their efforts to spread awareness of the diversity of issues women faced, and still face today.
