In this particular quote, Joris refers to a quotation by Ernest Hemingway. I also find this quotation by Ernest Hemingway very interesting and true in many ways. Here, Joris is able to assimilate a writer’s problems/ job to a documentary creator’s problems as well. It displays documentaries should engage the audience in what is the truth as well as connected them with the problems in the film.
