Culture of Resistance

I chose to write about as an example of Media Praxis because it provides its visitors with information in great detail on issues of poverty, discrimination, and quality of life for people all over the world. What really makes this an example of Media Praxis however is the surplus of information and resources it provides on how to get involved. Some of these suggested types of activism provided by Cultures of Resistance include letter-writing for grassroots campaigns in 3rd world countries, donation opportunities, and even volunteer positions that provide laughter to children living in crisis in Haiti, Colombia, Palestine, and more countries. This organization not only informs and educates those interested in learning about global and national issues, but it also provides people with easier access to volunteer and activist opportunities.
